The feeling when you want to strike back at something you so loathe but your hands are tied back.
The feeling when you see something so spectacular and marvelous that you cant help but admire it, even though you know it is detested or dangerous.
The feeling when you meet someone so perfect, so much that you blindly fall in love without thinking about realistic factors.
Its amazing that such contrasting emotions can make one feel powerless.

I wish I could say I agree with you. But I don't. Not anymore. The moment you stop assuming that every thing has only one dimension, you are not powerless anymore. How?
- You can always strike back once your hands are free. They won't be tied forever.
- Admire the beauty, flow with it, but don't try to control it. Like love.
- Perfection is what draws you to someone, but it's the imperfection that keeps you bound to someone. So realism is not such a bad thing after all, if you don't mind putting some effort enhancing it.
What you are talking about, is not powerlessness. It's has another name - balance :-)
