I was watching the movie Crash and had to pause it midway because my friends have some work.
The movie is so blatantly aimed at Racism. I particularly hate the part when the police officer stops the Black couple driving a car and harrasses them for absolutely no reason.
That jus made me think-" What if I were to be in such a helpless situation".
I would never be able to give an apology, but it would be absolutely impractical to retaliate and it would only lead to further harrassment.
I shiver when I think of what some people may have to put up with daily just to avoid further trouble and continue with their "normal" lives.
It would be so wonderful to have the power in your own hands so that we could have a chance to battle it out, and guard our dignity and pride - a "do or die".
That makes me wish the Star Wars concept of "The Force" existed in reality.
PS: Am i the only individual that gets so worked up for such issues?
